St. Benedict's Harps GAA: Yorkshire's Gaelic Football Club

Being Leeds-based, when people think of St. Benedict's Harps, they think we only have support in Leeds. We've proudly represented the city for over 40 years, providing Gaelic football to players, families and supporters across the region.

But today's St. Benedict's Harps is much more than a Leeds club.

Our members travel from across Yorkshire every week to train, play and be part of our community. We are proud to have players and members from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Castleford, Pontefract, Selby, York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Hull, with many more travelling from surrounding towns and villages to wear the green, red and white.

Whether you're based in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire or the East Riding of Yorkshire, you'll find a warm welcome at St. Benedict's Harps.

Gaelic football continues to grow across Yorkshire, and we're proud to be at the heart of that growth.

Every training session brings together people from different backgrounds and communities with one shared passion: Gaelic games. Some of our members have played all their lives, while others picked up a Gaelic football for the very first time after moving to Yorkshire.

That's what makes our club special.

We're not simply Leeds' Gaelic football club – we're proud to be Yorkshire's Gaelic football club, representing players from across the county and providing opportunities for anyone who wants to get involved.
